LATEST SEISMIC EARTHQUAKE EVALUATION
OVERVIEW
LATEST SEISMIC EARTHQUAKE EVALUATION/ADJUSTMENT
In Indonesia, large earthquakes often occur which cause many buildings to be damaged or collapsed. By using the latest earthquake data, an update of the Indonesia earthquake map was carried out so that it had implications for changes in the value of the spectrum response that affected the level of structure performance against earthquake loads. Therefore, renewal is also carried out with the preparation of SNI 1726-2019 as the latest earthquake-resistant building structure planning regulation that has been ratified by the National Standardization Agency.
This SNI will only come into effect in February 2022. After February 2022, all buildings must be designed according to SNI 2847:2019 and SNI 1726:2019.
CONSTRAINT
Main Problem
New structures that will be designed or have been built must rely again on SNI to conform to the evaluation that has been carried out.
SOLUTION
OUR SOLUTION
- Re-evaluate the building by means of structural analysis using a modeling application in accordance with the latest regulations.
- Comparing existing buildings with the results of structural analysis, so that the value of the additional reinforcement needed is obtained (if the structure is not strong enough to accept the load).
- Performing structural reinforcement design using FRP for structural reinforcement.
