In order to continue to function properly, it is necessary to increase the capacity of the building structure because over time, the building structure can experience a decrease in capacity. Decrease in capacity can occur due to corrosion and damage due to cyclic loading. Corrosion basically causes a reduction in the area of reinforcing steel which will result in reduced structural capacity.Â
Therefore, bridges that have been damaged due to corrosion or the influence of cyclic loads that cause a decrease in the existing capacity of the structure need to be increased the capacity of the building structure.
CONSTRAINT
MAIN PROBLEM
The condition of the actual structure of the building is no longer in accordance with the initial design due to several things, namely construction errors, corrosion, and increased loads. Therefore, the capacity of the building structure needs to be increased.
SOLUTION
OUR SOLUTIONS
Increasing the capacity of the building structure can be done by strengthening it by installing the Tyfo® Fibrwrap® Composite System. This system is useful for increasing the structural capacity of beams, plates, and columns.
